New Year's Day to Celebrate - What better way to add flair to wooing than a pyrotechnical display of the grandest-possible proportions? And one need not shell out a hundred-grand for this. With the sky as your canvas and the occasion as your platform, prepare a modest dinner al fresco and see your lover 'ooh' and 'ah' at fireworks of every color imaginable.

Chocolate hearts - Of course, chocolates are staple Valentine gifts, but there is always room for improvement where creativity is concerned. Ever tried making your own truffles - adding your own name of course? (How about we try chocolate a la Albert, with bittersweet filling, crushed hazelnuts, and just a twist of citrus?) Run to your nearest bookshop for a cookbook on truffles 101 (else your granny's bookstand), and whip out a mean cluster of truffle hearts come the Day of Hearts.

First of spring - Anything can be used as a dating motif during spring. For the month of fecundity, the dinner al fresco could be recycled; however, there are other countless options more. Boating, picnics, lazy strolling by the park – it's all there; just moderate each activity to leave your lover wanting for more - as well as not that tired.

April Rain - doesn't automatically necessitate indoors. Couples could actually try dancing in the rain (which gives a romantic, pseudo-cheesy, old-Hollywood-flick feel), provided the rain and the winds are not that hard. Plus, it brings long moments of cozy, by-the-firelight cuddling later.

Christmas joys - snow, celebrations, everything about Christmas speaks about togetherness. So why not utilize it in the way that best calls to you as a couple?
